He created tiny praying Buddhas out of pears by enca sing the young pears in molds while they’re still on th e tree. As they grow they have no choice but to take the shape of the spiritual figure...it must be something all together amazing to see an orchid of pear trees growing hundreds of tiny Buddhas."
